I am a licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy to teens and adults who are experiencing emotional and relational difficulties. I work with patients of many different backgrounds and experiences and provide treatment for issues including: depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family conflict, gender and sexuality, and identity. I have specific experience working with adolescents, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am committed to maintaining a practice that is anti-racist and culturally aware.

I strive to provide an open, non-judgmental, compassionate, and empowering space so we may build the mutual trust and respect necessary for a successful therapy. I practice from a relationally-informed psychodynamic perspective and emphasize the importance of exploring how past relationships and systems have influenced and shaped your understanding of yourself and others. Finding personal significance in these past experiences is essential in identifying the roots of your current situation and helping you to build and grow the agency and self-awareness that will guide your path forward.

I also provide clinical supervision to psychology candidates to help prepare them for independent practice. I view supervision as a collaborative space where I can provide guidance in honing your clinical skills and support you in building a professional identity. Some of my interests in supervision include examining the use of disclosure, utilizing process to deepen the therapeutic relationship, and the parallel relationship between supervisor-supervisee and therapist-patient. I greatly value this aspect of psychotherapy and the opportunity to build relationships with and learn from supervisees.

I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University and completed my predoctoral internship at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY. I completed my postdoctoral training at Bryant West Psychology.
