I am a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training and extensive experience in psychological, cognitive, neuropsychological, and forensic assessment. I work with individuals ages 14 and older, providing evaluations that are tailored, evidence-based, and designed to clarify diagnosis, guide treatment, and support informed decision-making across clinical, academic, occupational, and legal contexts.
My assessment services are rooted in a collaborative process and aim to answer complex referral questions clearly and accurately. I approach each evaluation with attention to nuance and strive to deliver comprehensive findings that are both clinically meaningful and practically useful.
My areas of expertise include:
Psychodiagnostic and Cognitive Evaluations
I conduct assessments to identify emotional and psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and personality disorders. These evaluations help uncover the root causes of psychological distress and guide personalized treatment planning.
Neuropsychological and Brain-Based Assessments
I evaluate cognitive and behavioral changes associated with brain injury, medical illness, or neurodegenerative disease, including:
- Concussions, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and post-concussive syndrome
- Memory disorders and suspected dementia
- Attention, executive functioning, and information processing difficulties
Services include differential diagnosis (e.g., distinguishing psychiatric from neurological causes), functional impact analysis, and longitudinal tracking of changes over time.
Psychoeducational and Learning Disability Evaluations (18+)
I offer adult assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD, and academic challenges, including evaluations for:
- Cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses
- Documentation for school or standardized testing accommodations
- Psychoeducation and recommendations tailored to individual learning needs
Forensic and Occupational Assessments
I provide expert evaluations in both criminal and civil legal contexts, as well as for workplace-related claims. This includes:
- Competency, capacity, and criminal responsibility assessments
- Disability and work-related psychological injury evaluations
- Detection of exaggerated or malingered symptoms
- Independent Psychological Evaluations (IPEs/IMEs) for disability, permanency, and fitness for duty
- Pre-employment and fitness-for-duty evaluations for safety-sensitive positions (e.g., law enforcement, corrections, first responders)
Individualized Treatment Planning and Differential Diagnosis
Each evaluation results in a detailed, personalized report that integrates clinical findings into practical recommendations. I emphasize differential diagnosis—identifying and distinguishing overlapping psychiatric or neurological conditions—so that treatment can be appropriately targeted.
I bring broad-based experience across inpatient, outpatient, correctional, academic, and legal settings. Whether you're seeking diagnostic clarity, legal documentation, or support in navigating cognitive or emotional difficulties, I aim to offer a thoughtful, thorough, and evidence-informed evaluation experience.
Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to schedule an assessment or learn more about how I can assist you.
