I am a clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow who sees clients ages 10 and older in individual, couples, family, and group therapy both in person in NYC and online throughout NY State. I focus on adolescents and young adults. As a therapist, I have worked with a wide range of clinical issues; my specialties include mood disorders, complex trauma, body dysmorphia, substance use, life transitions, and questions of identity, culture, and belonging.

My approach is integrative, culturally sensitive, and person-centered: that is, I view therapy as a highly collaborative process where no two treatments are the same. Although I come from a primarily psychodynamic background, I also utilize other approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and so on, to tailor therapy to your needs. I aim to prioritize warmth and flexibility in my treatment and tend to err towards more of a conversational, grounded way of working.

I received my doctorate degree from the City College of New York and have experience providing therapy and neuropsychological assessment across a variety of environments ranging from community clinics and private practice to hospitals and university counseling centers. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Elmhurst Hospital Center, where I treated patients in inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and emergency settings. While I have a range of interests, I often find myself drawn to communities underserved by traditional mental health frameworks, particularly ones in which mental health treatment remains heavily stigmatized. That lens shapes how I practice, holding both the clinical picture and the cultural context you're navigating.

Whether it’s your first time in therapy, you’re returning after a break, or you just want to see what’s out there, welcome. Please do not hesitate to reach out for a consultation such that I can help in whichever way I can.
