As a Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow, I offer individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for children (8 years+), adolescents, and adults. Together, we can address a wide range of concerns, including:
● Anxiety, depression, panic, and social anxiety
● Identity exploration and self-discovery
● Effects of trauma and difficult life transitions
● Relationship conflicts, grief, and loss
● Imposter syndrome, burnout, and life stress
I extend a compassionate and safe space to support your journey towards emotional well-being. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect – because your unique experiences and challenges deserve to be met with warmth and acceptance. I have a special interest in working with athletes, first responders (and their families), and new mothers navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood. My personal experiences as a former athlete and the child of a First Responder have fostered a deep understanding of the unique pressures and demands these roles can bring.
I am deeply committed to working with individuals of all identities, including the LGBTQ community. I provide a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space for exploring gender, sexuality, and any challenges that arise within these experiences. Whether you're navigating the complexities of identity, facing discrimination of any type, I am here to help you understand and embrace your true self despite the messages of the world around us.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your specific needs. By blending evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP), we can address negative thought patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and manage anxiety. Our process will be collaborative, so that you can explore your emotions, gain valuable insights, and work towards meaningful change – at your own pace. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness techniques and meditation to cultivate present-moment awareness and inner calm.
I earned my Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology at Felician University and completed my pre-doctoral internship at Sanford Health in Minnesota. My training and clinical experiences in diverse settings, including inpatient facilities, neuropsychology settings, crisis support hotlines, and college counseling centers, have equipped me to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
I invite you to reach out and discuss how we can work together. I look forward to hearing from you.
