I am a Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow in New York, offering both in-person and online therapy sessions. I work with adults facing grief and loss, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma, including physical, sexual, combat, and racial trauma. I also support individuals navigating substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, and issues related to self-esteem, gender, and sexuality. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported in exploring life’s most difficult experiences. I see therapy as a collaborative process—guided by your goals and experiences, while also making room for moments of reflection and challenge that can lead to meaningful change.

At the core of my approach is relational psychodynamic therapy. This means I’m interested in understanding how your past experiences and relationships have shaped the way you feel and interact in the present. I also pay close attention to the unique relationship we build together in therapy. Sometimes, patterns that emerge in daily life can also appear between us, and by noticing these patterns in a thoughtful, collaborative way, we can open doors to new possibilities.

While insight is important, I know it isn’t always enough. That’s why I also integrate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In practice, this often means combining concrete tools for managing emotions, relationships, and stress with dedicated space for transformation and deeper self-understanding. I see therapy as a place where meaning and connection can grow, even amidst suffering. My interest in existential therapy also shapes how I think about questions of identity, purpose, and what it means to live meaningfully in a world of uncertainty. At its core, I believe treatment is built on human connection and a genuine interest in the lived experience.

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University. During my predoctoral internship at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, I worked extensively with people living with serious mental illness and substance use concerns. I also trained at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center and at Rutgers’ student counseling center. Across all of these settings, I have sought to be open and affirming, welcoming people across the full spectrums of age, race, gender, abilities, and culture.

If what I’ve shared here resonates with you, I genuinely encourage you to reach out. I would welcome the chance to explore how we might work together in your journey
