Neuropsychological Evaluations
Greetings. I am a NYS Certified School Psychologist and a NYS Licensed Psychologist. who is available for comprehensive assessments of children from the age of 2 and up. I have decades of experience testing and diagnosing Autism, learning disabilities and neurocognitive disorders throughout the lifespan. I provide reports that are informative and clearly written that describe strengths and weaknesses that can help guide treatment and interventions, as well as serve to document the need for accommodations and services, including special education. I have years of experience working for the NYC DOE and know what types of assessments can make a difference for children attending school and in need of services.

Autism Testing and Diagnosis
I have extensive experience in diagnosing Autism across the lifespan. I am one of the first psychologists that helped in the development of the NYC DOE ASD nest program. I have been thoroughly trained in the functioning and diagnosis of Autism. I also have been trained in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (ADOS) by one of its original authors, and am well versed in identifying comorbid diagnoses that should be considered in such evaluations.
Evaluation and Diagnosis of Learning Disabilities
I conduct thorough neurocognitive evaluations to detect learning disabilities. This includes the testing for ADHD, Dyslexia, screening for Central Auditory Processing Disorder, Language delays and Intellectual Disability. Reports could be used to apply for Special Education services, testing accommodations and accommodations at Universities and well as at work.
Neuropsychological Evaluations
These evaluations would assess Memory, Executive Functioning, Attention, and Intellectual Functioning to address needs related to Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia, and Information Processing difficulties. Such testing can help in understanding pre- and post-operative surgical functioning, document brain injury, and provide guidance as to treatment and remediation necessary to optimize functioning, as well as to document the need for accommodations and other services.
Your evaluation will consist of a thorough interview, during which I will come to understand your background and needs for testing. We will agree on a course of testing. One or more testing sessions will follow, based on your needs, as well as my expertise on how to best answer the questions we will be addressing. I will provide you with a comprehensive report usually within two weeks, with clear diagnostic impressions, as well as recommendations for addressing the issues uncovered, such as accommodations, therapeutic services and resources available in the community. We will meet for a feedback session in which I will make sure that the results and recommendations are clear and I can answer any questions you might have.
